Poulan Pro PP125 17-Inch 25cc 2-Cycle Gas-Powered Straight-Shaft String Trimmer with Split Shaft Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Bought this item about 10 days ago,(Poulan Pro 17-Inch 25cc Gas Powered String Trimmer #PP125), after I've sent another weedeater back that was hard to start. The first weedeater I bought was a curved shaft and it was very hard to start and keep running. So I was a little hesitant to purchase another one from amazon. Once I opened the box all I had to do was attach the 2 pieces together and also attach the safety guard. It took about 3 minutes to put together. Also if buying the attachments, you will be able to switch them with no problem. Also if you take your hand off the throttle, the weedeater will stop, and the engine will still be running (nice safety feature), and when you put your finger back on the throttle, the weedeater will be ready to start trimming again. I actually bought mine for $99.00 shipped when Amazon had their weekend sale. I think this is a really good weedeater at $150.00, but at $99.00 it's even better.

Leviton 128-I 15 Amp, 660 Watt, 250 Light Socket Adapter, Ivory Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this to add an additional bulb into a part of my basement which needed more light.
The component did what it was supposed to -- it added another bulb to the existing socket. HOWEVER, the chain on the adapter needs to be pulled a couple times before it turns on. It's like as if it was a multi-stage switch that only pulls on after the third pull, and off at the fourth.
I don't really have a problem with this, as it's in my basement, but it is a little something which I thought I'd mention in my review.

Stanley 77-188 S2 Laser Level Square Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)PROS: I have used this several times to hang up painting, pictures, wall shelves, etc. The levels and 90 degree lasers really help line things up. It has a sort of protractor on it for angles. There is a model above this with more accurate lasers but it cost significantly more. I think this one should take care of most jobs around the house.
CONS: I kinda don't like the sticky putty stuff (to hold up device on its own on the wall). They work, but I don't know for how long. I am assuming at some point, they will lose their stickiness. Without the putty, it becomes a 2-person job for long distances. But that's not that big of a deal. It would be nice if it was a little smaller, but once again not a deal breaker.

Black & Decker NHT518-1 18-Volt 22-Inch Cordless Electric Hedge Trimmer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The hedge trimmer works superbly and it is so light you don't even get tired cutting 300 feet of a six foot hedge. The major downside is the battery. I read many reviews of this product that pointed out problems with battery function and so I was extra careful following the instructions and even keeping it in the house rather than the garage so it wouldn't catch a cold. After ten charges it died anyway. Good product but let's get a better battery! If you don't mind paying about $40 bucks a year to replace the battery in return for a well functioning, convenient, light trimmer, I give it a five.

Fiskars 9234 62-Inch Pruning Stik Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This pruning stick is the best thing to come along in a long time. I had been trying to figure out how to prune our big Rhododendron bush without ruining its shape, but no matter how I tried, I just couldn't get at the top. This stick allows selective pruning while on a ladder or from the ground. It is lightweight and comfortable to handle. Definitely well worth the price.

In addition, the cutting head rotates 240 degrees to give the user the best pruning angle. The replaceable Xylan-coated blade is ultra-hardened to stay sharp all-season long, and it offers a cutting capacity of 1-1/4 inches. Weighing less than 2 pounds, the aluminum handles are durable and light, and their length allows you to reach high branches, and remove growth at ground level while standing.
