Leviton VZM10-1LX Vizia 1000-Watt 120-Volt AC Incandescent and 1000VA (800-Watt) 120-Volt AC Magnetic Low Voltage Dimmer, with LEDs, White, Ivory and Almond Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)The Vizia costs less than the Lutron Maestro but it does everything the Maestro does with a few exceptions. 1) The Maestro has a double tap feature for instant full-on lights, otherwise a single tap returns the lights to the last used dimmer setting. Vizia lacks this double tap feature although full on lights can be achieved with a single tap every time using advanced programing features. 2) You cannot turn the lights on incrementally using the dimmer bar as you can with the Maestro (Nice if you don't want to chance waking someone up with bright lights). 3) The Maestro provides for much longer "delayed off" options than the Vizia. But these are small considerations. As far as I know the Vizia matches all the other features that I love about the Maestro but for less money. I have installed four in my home and I'm very satisfied. I would NEVER go back to the traditional 3-way dimmer arrangement where dimming can only be controlled from one location! The slow fade off is an elegant touch too.

Leviton's line of Vizia control devices combines elegant design with all-digital circuitry to give you precise lighting control. This 1000 watt Incandescent Dimmer has an LED indicator to help you find it in the dark and a line of seven LEDs to indicate the preset brightness level. The brightness level is set by a handy control bar just to the right of the paddle. This dimmer can stand alone as a single-pole dimmer, or can be part of a 3-way (or more) circuit. Operating the Vizia 1000w Incandescent Dimmer couldn't be easier. One touch turns your lights on to the last-used brightness level, or you can adjust to a new level by using the Dim/Bright Bar (even when the lights are off). Any installed remote dimmers will track and display level settings. Touch again to turn the lights off, or hold the paddle for a long touch, and you've engaged a 10-second delayed-off feature. When the lights are off, the long touch turns the lights on to full brightness. And you can easily adjust the fade rates to gradually bring the lights up to your desired level or fade to off, enhancing the mood and giving longer lamp life.
