Although in theory, it should have been easy to screw the plates to join the two four foot poles together, it proved to be very difficult. The screw holes did not line up with the plate holes, therefore new screw holes had to be drilled. The old holes were filled and I am hoping that the poles have not been compromised due to the revision.
