(More customer reviews)It does what it says it will do, which is about all a person could ask for in their small hardware items. It makes a plain old light socket into an outlet AND a light socket. I needed an outlet outside for our Christmas lights, and this product did the trick. The only thing to keep in mind is that it does raise the hight of your light bulb. If you use it in an outdoor light fixture and that fixture has a lid on it, you might want to make sure the bulb has enough clearance with the adapter. Other than that, it's a fine tool for what it is.
