Have used the zip wall to know that it works as advertised in the promotions. Every time I have used it the customer has really been impressed that I actually have something to screen off the work area and it causes no damage to ceiling, floor, or walls. Takes a little while to set up but it saves a lot of clean up time by containing the mess.

If you need to create a dust-tight seal along ceilings or walls as part of a renovation or remodeling project, the ZipWall Foam Rails will do the job without damaging ceilings or walls. When used with the ZipWall Spring Loaded Poles or the ZipWall Side Clamps (each sold separately), these five-foot Foam Rails will help contain plaster dust, lead-paint dust, and other potentially harmful debris within the workspace.
Note: The FR2 package contains two five-foot long Foam Rails. These rails are also included as part of the ZipWall 4PL 4-Pack Plus Kit with Carry Bag, an ideal barrier system starter kit that can be used without Foam Rails on small jobs up to 30 linear feet or with Foam Rails on jobs up to 10 linear feet. For jobs up to 50 linear feet, the RLFP Facility Pack Kit with six 12-foot Poles, Caution Tape Reel System and Carry Bag is an ideal start to a barrier system (Foam Rails are not included in the RLFP and barrier material, such as plastic sheeting, must be purchased separately).
Never Use Tape, Staples, or Furring Strips AgainIdeal for contractors and home owners, ZipWall Foam Rails are part of the ZipWall Dust Barrier System, a unique system that lets you isolate and contain dusty sites under construction from occupied areas of a business or home.
Traditional methods of dust containment rely on tape, staples, glue, or furring strips to hold plastic sheeting against the ceiling and walls. These methods damage ceilings and walls, resulting in costly repairs. ZipWall Foam Rails prevent this costly damage by providing a tight seal with light pressure. What's more, they set up quickly so you can cut labor costs, and they work so well they reduce your cleanup time, saving you on labor again.
Not only do these rails eliminate costly repairs while reducing labor, they also help you meet stringent Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) lead-dust containment laws. And built to withstand the rigors of professional use, they meet strict ANSI (American National Standards Institute) certification requirements for quality.
Easy to Install and UseInstalling a ZipWall Barrier System couldn't be easier. The FR2 Foam Rails are designed to be used with all ZipWall Spring Loaded Poles or ZipWall Side Clamps (all sold separately). You start by creating a dust barrier with Spring Loaded Poles placed every eight to ten feet.
Once the barrier is up, you snap the Foam Rails onto additional poles and raise them into position, pressing the plastic sheeting tightly against the ceiling. Overlap the Foam Rails slightly, and you'll ensure a continuous dust-tight seal along the entire ceiling. The ZipWall Dust Barrier System is so easy to install, one person can set up a 30-foot barrier in a matter of minutes!
Ideal for Sealing off Commercial Job Sites or Rooms with Dropped CeilingsZipWall Foam Rails are ideal for dropped ceilings because you can place them directly on the grid. You can create a tight seal without pushing the ceiling tiles out of position.
An Easy Way to Create a Dust-Tight Seal Along the WallUse ZipWall Foam Rails and Side Clamps to seal any wall. Just attach a side clamp to a Foam Rail and place the assembly between the wall and the nearest spring loaded pole. The side clamp will push against the pole, forcing the Foam Rail against the plastic at the wall. In no time you'll have a dust-tight seal from floor to ceiling without tape, staples, glue, or furring strips.
Foam Rails Work with All ZipWall ProductsFoam Rails can be used with all ZipWall Spring Loaded Poles to seal the ceiling, as well as with ZipWall Side Clamps to seal the walls. For high ceiling jobs, consider the 20-foot KT20 poles. They are ideal for cathedral ceilings, high foyers, and stairwells, as well as commercial sites such as shopping malls, airports, transit stations, parking garages, movie theaters, and more.
Protect Children and Property from Lead-Dust ContaminationProviding a dust-tight seal around worksites is very important, especially when doing demolition or when renovating an older home that has lead paint. In fact, the EPA mandates that dust be contained when as little as six square feet of lead paint is disturbed in homes or facilities where there are children under six years old.
Go to www.epa.gov/lead to get details on the latest lead-safety rules and lead-safe work practices. New EPA laws are an important reason to keep a ZipWall Barrier System on hand.
