The new motor was an exact replacement, and all of its fitting and connectors exactly matched those of the earlier motor.
The motor replacement only took about 15 minutes, but I had earlier removed the old motor during the troubleshooting process, so I knew how to replace it.
The new motor has worked perfectly without any rattling.
