(More customer reviews)This Silky pole saw is like performing surgery. It is made in Japan of high quality material. I never knew a pole saw could be of such quality. I cut through a 6" oak limb in seconds. . . smaller limbs with 2-3 strokes. My advice: spend the $$$ . . . it should last a lifetime, but select model carefully, according to your cutting needs. Wide toothed saws don't work too well on flimsy small branches. If most of your home gardening work is on small branches, get a saw with finer teeth. I'm sure it will still cut beautifully. The large toothed models are designed for larger limbs. I cut even small limbs effectively . . . if I cut at a point close to a larger limb which offered support. You could cut down a large tree with these Silky saws. The telescoping pole is oval, super-strong, and solid. The rubber covered lower section offers exceptional comfort. I can't recommend this Silky saw highly enough.
As for the vendor, after I called them and asked them to ship as early as possible, theY got it out ahead of listed shipping time!
