(More customer reviews)This is a no frills very well made switch suitable for motor control when you don't need an internal fuse to protect the motor from overload, or when there is overload protection on the motor itself. I used it on a 2 hp motor on my 8" jointer. Probably not as safe if there are inquisitive children around as the push button contactor with lockout type switches that ship with new jointers. The toggle and contacts are large and robust, so it should hold up well.
