(More customer reviews)Finally was able to trek through the Long Island snow and uncover a few downed trees in the lot behind my house. This saw cuts like butter through 8" timber. I was VERY impressed. Being that I have a Sven Saw Foldable 21 Inch as well as the Little Sister Trail Blazer Collapsible 21" (for back packing) both of those cut great. Sven is a bit easier to assemble but does not come with a case and has sharp edges on the exterior while the Trailmaster folds into its own cannister. ANYWAY, back to this one. This is for home use or stays in the truck. Amazing blade. The ONLY downer is that on several occasions the blade came undone while sawing. I simple pulled it back and tightened the screw. Not sure if I did not have it tight enough while starting the sawing or not. There is plenty of "Height" Clearance to get through Massive Logs as well as one can saw right down to the ground without having to angle it like one would have to with the Trailmaster Buck Saw Foldable Hiking saw. If you do not have to fold it and put into a back pack (cause you can't with this model it's too big and who would want to) I would say that it's the BEST on the market - Canadian Made, Swedish Steel - excellent Design. Great Price. Again, I could not believe how it sawed through Oak. Use WD 40 or equivalent on the blade while sawing (will keep it nicely lubed) I would have given 5 stars but had the blade un attaching incident. Way to go Trailmaster and GO CANADA!
