(More customer reviews)Overall the rods have a nice look but the quality of the build is a bit flimsy. Most times with rods that are variable length, there is a small plastic ring that nests in the end of the large rod that allows curtain rings to make the transition from small rod to large without catching. These rods have that ring but it doesn't keep the rings from catching. Normally, I'd not kvetch about this detail except these are in the baby room and that little extra bit of noise when the rings get caught has woken up our son a few times. I'm going to get some different rods because no amount of style is worth waking a sleeping baby.
