(More customer reviews)Bought this along with a screw-on adapter (Midwest Photo) after learning of an application by Syl Arena ([...]). I have adapted this as he outlines in his "long arm" post. Once the adapter is screwed on the end, you can adapt any standard device made for a standarded lightstand. I use the Lumiquest Soft Box with Nikon sb-800 remote flashes. Any brand will work. The joy is having a light weight, adjustable length arm that can be used to position lights/flashes as needed. Only drawback is you need to supply your own Photo assistant. My kids help out there....
