(More customer reviews)I installed a pair of these lights at the end of my boat dock and it provides enough light to clearly see my dock in complete darkness both from the water as well as from the house. The solar charge appears to work for several hours (well past midnight) so have no complaints and it lights up enough of the dock to be able to walk comfortably. If this were your only light source though, I would use one on each post (mine are 10 feet apart). I have had these in operation all summer and they continue to work very solidly so far. The batteries are easily changeable when they start to fail to hold a charge and the kit comes with multiple post adapters (for differing diameters). The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is that I wish they were a bit brighter but it is a minor nit.
