(More customer reviews)I bought this to add an additional bulb into a part of my basement which needed more light.
The component did what it was supposed to -- it added another bulb to the existing socket. HOWEVER, the chain on the adapter needs to be pulled a couple times before it turns on. It's like as if it was a multi-stage switch that only pulls on after the third pull, and off at the fourth.
I don't really have a problem with this, as it's in my basement, but it is a little something which I thought I'd mention in my review.
