The motion detection works well but I do wish I could angle the sensor downward because the mounting location on my house is a little high. Great looking unit, very nice fit and finish and puts out plenty of light with a 100 watt bulb.
The antique brass finish is quite nice. This unit comes with a little pole you can add to the bottom to give a more regal look. Instructions are very well written and it's super easy to change the settings because the switches are on the base and it's easy to read the markings. Similar units seem to cost a lot more at the hardware store so I thought this was a good buy for the money. My only regret is that I didn't buy two, will be adding one to my next order though.
