The Bahco 14-inch pruning saw with striking knife features a tough steel tube handle and was designed to be used on a 1-inch diameter extension pole. The blade tip sports an extended hook designed to prevent the working blade from slipping out of the kerf, and a striking knife is attached to the blade for cutting bark before sawing through the branch. The unit's teeth are re-sharpenable, and the steel tube handle will fit all Bahco branded poles, making it the perfect choice for personal or professional use.

Fiskars 9257 6-Inch Power Tooth Sliding Pruning Saw with Carabiner Clip Review

(More customer reviews)I liked the idea of this saw but the execution wasn't so great. it is a quality saw and felt very sturdy but the blade was to short for me and the locking screw tightened up when I was sawing and I had to use pliers to undo it. I ended up returning it and getting a folding design.
