(More customer reviews)This lamp works and is OK. The big negative (and it is a BIG one) is that you have to unscrew and remove the top of the lamp to get access to the on/off switch. There is no reason for this to be built that way, they just got lazy. It have it in my backyard now and it is a HUGE pain to have to go outside with a screwdriver and take the lamp apart just to turn it on or off. Very poor design.

(More customer reviews)These are really nice. Sturdy and made of vinyl so they can't rust. (Not sure what the previous reviewer was reviewing but it sure wasn't these!) The only drawback is that if you leave them on all the time you'll have to change the batteries after about a year of use. Other than that they're totally maintenance free and look great even after being out in the Florida sun for nearly two years.

Moonrays 91249 Solar Powered Plastic Post Cap Lamp Light, Black Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased 35 of these. I would probably do so again because at 30% of the cost of the other Solar post top options its a good deal and when you multiply that by 35 its makes a big difference. Pros are the cost and they do look good. Cons are that they are all plastic and in the first month 20% of them have failed. I plan to not screw them in tightly untill I know which ones are bad and keep returning them untill I get a set of 35 that work well. I havent tested the return process yet and that will determine my final rating (0 stars to 3.5 or so).
