(More customer reviews)I put two of these solar post top lights at the beginning of a newly refurbished composite covered deck tied to my barn. It is barn red and white, the deck is grey and the railings are white. The lights work really well for seeing the step up in the dark and the glow they provide washes over more of the deck showing off the improvements. They last most of the night though on cloudy days they have a shorter life; but they do always make it through the evening. I saw one similar to this on the cap of a stair rail and really liked what it did. I compared what was available in the big box stores and these are better looking, better built and half the price. They also come with post adaptors for the different size posts used which, in my case, was real valuable. If I find another application I will get more of these.
