KB Electronics Solid State Variable Speed AC Electric Motor Control 5.0 Max amps 115V # K177-1005 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)They heat up to much and the speed changes on its own. I wanted to return this, but they said no after 1 day of use. Since it is electronic, you can not return the item, which totally is not right. I will never buy again.

Control provides infinite variable speed for shaded pole and PSC motors. Max amps means that the rated motor name plate amperage can not exceed this rating or you will damage the control and motor. Motor must be run with sufficient torque to prevent stalling - A motor not turning will burn up Motor must have fan blade installed on shaft (direct drive) to cool motor. Not to be used with gear motors. Controls that have been installed are not returnable

Lutron FSQ-2FH-DK Electronics Rotary On/Off Fan-Speed Fully Variable Control Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The title is mis-leading - the switch is 3 speeds plus off, NOT "fully variable". The product information even says this - Amazon needs to correct the listing.
OTHER than that, the switch is as it promises and comes with both white and ivory knobs.
