(More customer reviews)Purhcased this breaker to replace a melted 60A circuit in my GTE Sylvania load center. The breaker clicked right in like it was supposed to, and seems to work fine. However, when I tried to put the front panel back on the breaker box, it wouldn't fit in the hole. I decided the plastic breaker was easier to notch out than the metal panel was, so that's what I ended up doing (it was off by about 3 - 5 mm). This one was made in China. I'd buy more like it if I needed them, but before then I'll probably upgrade my panel to something newer (and less fire prone) than these old GTE Sylvania boxes.

(More customer reviews)The breaker is working OK but came missing one of the large set screws for the feeder line. It was a larger size than the one on the old breaker - so that was no solution. Amazon sold this and of course they have no replacement screws. The Amazon rep. suggested to return it and receive a replacement - the only solution suggested at first - but would take 4-6 weeks??? After further conversation they agreed to send me the Connecticut Electric contact info. Considering the time delay and hassle factor I went to the local hardware store- but the threads were slightly different than any screws available. They finally tapped (actually cleaned up) new set of threads and provided the needed screw, all for 40 cents. Then I learned they sold the same 50 AMP breaker item for a few dollars less than the one I bought on line. Guess where I'm going to purchase the next one.

Mine came they're used they junk they don't switch right and they have grease all over them. WHAT GIVES. It doesn't say used in the description anywhere. If I wanted used I would of went to Ebay which is clearly what I should of done in the first place. Shame on you Amazon for shipping these out. Expect a nice return from me in a few days.

came in barely working order - had to "play" with both for at least 5 minutes and was thinking to send it back, due to the mulfunction, but than finaly got it to work (do not know how long it will last - used only one and the other was kept for spare) - paid express shipping as well to get it a.s.a.p. price was right, about 40% less than anywhere else, but - "you get what you paid for" - if i had to do it again - probably would not.
