Neiko Tools USA Post Hole Digger with Fiberglass Handle Review

The product not only doesn't look like the picture, but it was also defective. Other people, aside from myself, tried it and also found that it couldn't even dig a mere 6 inches without the dirt (wet or dry) falling right back into the hole.
So I wrote to tell them of my experience.
It was nice that I was promised a full credit upon the return of the item, but due to the fact that the return postage would probably cost around the same amount as the digger itself, I requested a postage paid return label.
Here are just a few responses (in part) from "customer service" regarding the return label:
1) It's not our fault that you can't figure out how to use the post hole digger.
2) The post hole diggers work great if you know how to use
one.
I'll be leaving a response to your feedback. Along with
a complaint To Amazon about when you don't know how to use the tool
you call it defective.
3) No I'm not going to pay you for your ignorance in using it.
So in summary:
First and foremost the product didn't work properly. However, for him to insist that "I" don't know how to use one, even though I told him that others also tried, was rather insulting. But, then for him to threaten me and call me ignorant...well...that's more than just poor customer service...it's quite offensive to say the very least!!
Whatever happened to the policy of "the customer is always right"????
Anyway, I was going to file a complaint with Amazon.com, but decided it's just not worth more aggravation. Now that I've posted my feedback I just want to forget the whole thing.

Fiskars 9653 Post Hole Digger Review

Fiskars 9653 Post Hole Digger

I am presently using three post hole diggers for a large deck project. This is a useful tool but don't throw out the cheapo wooden handled digger. For the shallower dirt I use the wooden handled tool mainly because it is lighter which I think is the most important consideration. You expend most of your energy pulling the tool out of the hole and if it is heavy, you'll wear out quick. None of the tools pull out more than a few handfuls at a time. The narrow blade of the Fiskar is great for shaving the sides of the hole and creating ledges. The hinges however are further from the cutting edges causing them to come together more parallel; because of this, loose loads tend to slip from the jaws more as you are pulling it out.

The Fiskars post hole digger features a unique handle profile that prevents you from banging your knuckles together when digging holes. The offset handles allow you to dig a full foot deeper than standard post hole diggers (up to 4-feet deep), while its all-steel construction lets you tackle the tough jobs. Pre-sharpened to cut through the ground easier, the unit's blades are welded directly to the shaft for additional strength, and the entire tool is powder-coated to prevent rust.
