(More customer reviews)Well, this switch does not work like the single pole switch you know; in this case you must connect the white wire to the ground, then connect the black to the hot wire and then the red to the last wire.
Of course the diagrem that came with the switch does not explaine this in plain English and this is why I do not like the switch - also, they do not tell you that if you do not connect the white wire to ground, the switch will not work properly, it would permanently connect the power and keep the bulb on all the time - whoever wrote the wiring instructions, did not write them for the average Joe.
